how do i reseated the code on the car and the check engine light comes on but i had a compete turn up on the car and it shut off when the service soon light come on

I need to know what the code is or are ?.
the codes are E38 and E74

Answer
Replace the MANIFOLD AIR TEMP sensor (MAT) which is located right next to the alternator and has 2 wires connected to it.

Once you replace the sensor CLEAR the 2 codes from the computer and see if the light comes back on.

Purchase a new one so you will know what your looking for.
