Dodge: Question about 1999 Dodge Neon, crankshaft position sensor, dodge neon

Question
I have a 1999 Dodge Neon.  Ran fine for the first 2 years I had it, but since November it's been running bad.

Problem is, it just turns off completely while I'm driving it.  It use to only do it when I was going about 60mph on the highways, but now it'll do it at any random time (even while sitting at a red light)

The car will start back up again, but it can take anywhere from 1 try to start it up to over 10 tries.  What I have done to get it running again (and this may just be a coincidence that it works after this) is pop the hood and jiggle the wires that come out of the negative battery terminal.

I was able to get my car scanned, and the only thing that came up with a PO 320 code, which says something about he camshaft crank (or something similar to that anyway).  I was wondering if this would be what is causing my problem.

Answer
Brian,
there is a crankshaft position sensor that will make an engine just cut off,if this is the code that pulled up i'd talk to a dodge dealer mechanic and explain to him what it's doing. The battery cables could also be the problem, does the car have an alternator light or a guage. If it has a guage watch it and see if the amperage is fluctuating if it is i'd change the cable and see what happens.
