What is the proper procedure to relace belt on 1999 Dodge PU Diesel 24 valve engine

You will need to locate the idler pulley on the truck,You should be able to fit the end of the ratchet into it just under the bottom of the pulley.Look for it,either push or pull to take the tension off the belt,this will let you be able to remove the belt,Look under the hood compartment their will be a diagram of how the belt will go back on.you will probably have to remove the fan shroud.Also before attempting this type work be sure to unhook battery.
