Ford: Engine Surges and Misses, spark plug wires, ford e350

Question
I was wondering if the person who posted this:

My 1994 Ford E350 RV with a 7.5L fuel injection V8 automatic Trans has developed a miss at idle, and it surges (bucks) at light throttle and deceleration. It seems fine at acceleration and has no problem climbing a 2000 foot grade. The engine has 60,000 original miles on it and we figured it needed a tune up. We replaced the worn out cap and rotor and 8 clean burning Spark plugs that were some what worn out. The Air filter and crankcase element were replaced along with Oil and filter change. The Spark Plug wires showed no sign of Arcking in the darkness after replacing the plug, but the Engine still has a miss at idle and the surging is still present at light throttle and deceleration. The Check Engine light has not come on, but it is present  when first turning the ignition key, so it dose have a working bulb in it. We are out of solutions can you please HELP.

was able to find a solution. I have the same vehicle year and it has developed the exact problem.

Answer
i did not answer this question, however i may be able to help
surging can be caused by any number of things:

bad, old or cheap gas
incorrect plug gap
O2 sensor
dirty MAF sensor
vacuum leak
EVAP leak

its a long list but these are some of the more common causes.
