Ford: f 250 breaks not releasing, side wheels, wheel cylinder

Question
i have a 2000 f 250 super duty and the front and rear breaks on the passenger side are not releasing i find it strange that there on one side only .
the front breake pads were replaced recently . not sure what to look for

Answer
hello,

The braking system is still split front to rear , so i would begin by raising all 4 wheels off the ground.  Make sure all wheels spin freely and apply light to moderate brakes.until one of the left side wheels will not turn without force.  All wheels should be equal.

Thevehicle may have been parked in a way that caused corrossion to the right side or it is a coincidence that front and rear failed at same time.

For each sticking wheel, crack the bleeder and see if that frees it up.  This would mean that the problem is up line from the wheel.

If i5t has no effect, you have a frozen wheel cylinder/ caliper or the pads/ shoes are sticking in rust grooves or other.
