Ford: 1999 f250 steering box removal, pitman arm, output shaft

Question
hello the other day my steering box on my 99 f250 started to leak horribly and I'm trying to change it which i have found out i have to take it out before i buy a new one to count the splines on the shaft but I'm having a very hard time getting the pitman arm off the shaft on the bottom of the steering box and was also wondering if you could tell me exactly how to get the whole box off i know there are 3 bolts holding it to the frame and the one bolt holding the pitman arm on but wasn't sure if there was anything else up top to undo because i cant see in there thanks a lot

Answer
You have to have a pitman arm puller to get the pitman arm off the output shaft of the gear box.  You will also have 2 lines on the top of the gear box that require a 16mm wrench to take off.  There will be o-rings on them but you will get new o-rings with the new steering gear box.
