Ford: 1997 Thunderbird, hot check, bad water

Question
I am having a problem with overheating. Flushed radiator, changed thermostat, checked fuses & switches and still runs hot. Cooling fan goes on only after hitting above hot. What are we missing?

Answer
your coolant fan should kick in long before it gets that hot, check your coolant switch that controls the cooling fans, it may not be working properly. it also could be a bad water pump, check to see it it circulating coolant properly, but i am leaning toward it being for fan is not kicking on sooner.
