Ford: motor, horsepower, good luck

Question
i have a 171ci inline 6. I was wondering if i could put a 200ci head on the 171, and would it do anything to the horsepower? Also, is there any difference in the cam?

Answer
Michael,

You can do it if you are within a year of each motor. However, let me warn you, you may be loosing power instead of gaining. depending on the year of the motor, of which you did not give me. Depending on some years, the heads may not line up. The cams, however, are the same. Hope this helps. Good luck.
