Ford: Engine wont start, ford f250, coil wire

Question
I have a 1992 Ford, F250, 351 c.i. engine. Engine will crank but not start.  The last time it started it ran less than a minute and quit like you turned off the ignition. I replaced the coil and that didn't help.  I don't get fire from the coil wire or a plug wire.  Please tell me how I can diagnois and fix the problem. Thanks, Bob.

Answer
Bob  in order to do so i need to know if you have a test light and a vote meter.then we could do a step by step.if not then the best thing to do is go to your part store and if you know some one who would let you use a dist. just plug it in and ground it and turn the shaft and see if your coil fires if so the best thing to do is replace it. you can rebuild it it cheaper but time wise it better  good luck
