GM-GMC: No power to vehicle at all, jumper cables, gm vehicles


Question
i started my 95 s-10 and drove about 100 ft and the truck died and thought maybe it was the battery tried to get a jump but still no power at all, please help i had jumper cables hooked up and still nothing no radio , no lights, nothing.
please help

Unless you battery has experienced an internal failure (rare, but it does happen), I would say that you have blown one or more fusible links on the vehicle.

I don't have any technical manuals to tell me where they are on your S-10, but most GM vehicles have them located in the wiring that runs to the starter.  Some have them on the firewall near the tie point where the red wire from the alternator connects to.

That's all the information I can provide since all of my GM vehicles are at least ten years older than yours.
