GM-GMC: Chevy Truck Buzzing, v belts, chevy truck

Question
I recently bought a 70 CST/10 with a new crate 350.   Now that winter is upon us, the engine will make a Loud Buzzing when going accelerating from a stopped position.  This Buzzing will occur only in the first fifteen minutes of my commute usually.  Is this some kind of belt slippage causing this sound??

Answer
Yes, it is possible that one of your v-belts could be causing the noise.

You can isolate it by removing one belt at a time and then driving with a cold engine.  Do not go very far without the belt(s) that turn the water pump.

If you isolate the noise, try a new belt at that location and/or test the accessory for bad bearings.
