GM-GMC: fuel filter on 1998 diesel gmc 2500 truck, fuel pressure regulator, html copy and paste

Question
hi, i cant seem to locate the the fuel filter on the truck. i do not know where it is. today, it just started going about 10 miles an hour and couldnt get any fuel. then i let it sit and two hours later it rode fine for a few minutes. is this the problem with the fuel filter? and if so , where is it?

Answer
It is possible that the fuel filter is clogged, but that would caus it to run bad all the time. It sounds like something in the fuel line or pump.

I run a service where I can provide a full report for this vehicle and I could include parts of the service manual that would have to do with the fuel pump and lines. I could be the fuel pressure regulator also.

I have found a lot on information on fuel on these types of trucks here is a link go ahead and check it out and see if that is something you could use. If you are seeking service manual information on the fuel system I have that and it would cost the same as the report for the recalls, bulletins, special policies, and history. The total cost would be usually $24.00 but for the holidays I am offering the whole package for $18.00. Let me know.  http://www.usfreeads.com/290884-cls.html copy and paste this in your browser. If you wish to have all this info let me know and I will send the link for payment and send you the info immediatly.
