GM-GMC: orignal question, answering messages, absolute answer

Question
Why do you not consult with some of the other experts if you don't know the answer to my orignal question. Thank you.

Answer
Hi James - A couple of things.   First, if you read my bio, you will see that I have NO expereinece in fixing vehicles.  I help out people with questions or problems in regards to buying or selling their vehicles, or things like specing out the correct equipment for a tow vehicle.  Nowhere is there anything saying I can help diagnose a repair.

Secondly, if there are other AllExperts who do help people with repairs, or diagnosing, I do not know that or sure that they exist.  We are not in the same location, sitting in an office, answering messages.  This is a volunteer based Q & A system, that we all work from our homes.  If you are looking for an absolute answer from someone, everytime, you have a couple of choices.  You can search more closely at AllEperts to see if there are indeed any repairs Experts, or there are other resources you can get to on the web, by using your search engines, and some that you may have to pay for.

We try to help the people who are within our scope of expertise, but outside that, it is not within our means to continue on looking, no matter the question, until a suitable answer is found.

I apologize for not understanding or knowing the answer that you were looking for, but I do try to help in the areas that I have some knowledge.  The others that I do not know a response, I would rather that I give an answer that 'I do not know', than to give a wrong answer.

If you do have a question for me, in my area, I will be more than happy to try and help you find the correct response.

Automotively yours,

Dean
