Honda: 95 Honda Civic VX starting problem, fuel pressure gauge, honda civic vx

Question
I have a very strange problem with my 95' VX. It won't start before around 10am. Any other time during the day or at night it will start. I just replaced the fuel filter because that seemed like it could be part of the problem. The old filter was plugged up I found out. I also replaced the battery (that was another problem wouldn't start at all.) I've tried spraying specialized cleaner on the switch in the throttle body which controls the airflow I believe. Also checked the distributor cap and spark wires they are all in good shape and securely in place. Fuel pump is sending fuel to filter (I couldn't fit the fuel pressure gauge I have on so I loosened the top bolt on the filter slightly to check and make sure fuel was flowing.)I just replaced the air filter as well. When the car will start she idles smoothly and accelerates without problems although slowly. But it's always been slow to accelerate. When it won't start here's what happens. The engine will turn over but will not engage. Even after several attempts to start it the engine still won't engage. Any other time when I try to start the car it leaps to life as soon as I turn the key. No hesitation no problems. And as I said the car runs smooth no bad noises from the engine ect. Heat or cold don't really seem to matter I've run the car for around a half hour or more to get it up to temperature driving around and no problems occured. Same with it being cold I've run it to the theater watched a 2 hour movie came back out and it started no prob. The amount of time it's left without being run doesn't seem to matter either. I thought perhaps when it's left sitting for over a certain number of hours might be the problem. I've tried running it at night to see if it would run the next morning and no change still wouldn't start in the morning. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.

Answer
Are you parking your car in the grass?Sometimes when a car sits overnight condensation forms inside the dist cap,in the morning if your car won't start take the dist cap off and clean it out with some wd-40 and a paper towel put it back on and see what happens. The exact thing happened to my car and the wd-40 worked.     by the way the word is etcetera abbreviated etc.    not ect
