Honda: 1989 Honda Accord, air control valve, honda accord

Question
I have a 1989 fuel injected honda accord and i just did alot of work on it but when i start it up it will run pretty good until i try to push the gas then it will die and some people told me i needed to clean my fuel injecters and other people told me i need to adjust my choke or throttle i was wondering what you thought about it

Answer
Okay,
If it's fuel injected, there's no "choke".  You have an Idle Air Control valve (IAC).  It is an inexpensive part.  Troubleshooting methods can be found in the Helm's service manual.

I'd say fuel injectors or fuel PUMP.  If the pump can't keep up with anything else, you're probably SOL.

Hope I helped,
Barrett.
