Honda: loss of power, b16 swap, little car

89 civic 140k. car has very little pickup when taking off from a stop. muffler has a hole in it and will be replaced could the C/C be blocked? does it need a tune-up how can i get this little car to have some more pickup.

Yeah it could be the cat ,pullit of and check it . The best way to get a little more pickup is withe an engine swap if your car is not an si its a little complicated but if it is, a a zc is a vary streightforward swap and a b16 swap is not too difficult either.
