Honda: S2000, wheel drive car, bridgestone potenza

Question
Hey, i was wondering if I could get some help with a decision. I was thinking of getting a s2k but I live in Minnesota which snows from november to febuary. Do you think the s2k can make it in the snow?

Answer
Joseph,
Understand that I am not speaking from experience, just from what I've heard.  The S2000 can very well handle the snow as long as you DO NOT USE the stock tires.  The Bridgestone Potenza S02 tire is a max performance summer tire.  You will have to get some winter or All-season tires.
Also consider the configuration of the car that you currently drive.  Do you have a front wheel drive car, or is it rear drive?  Handling the S2000 can be tricky even in the rain.  I'd suggest getting one at the end of Winter to allow yourself sufficient time to get used to the "characteristics" of the car.

Good luck,
B
