Honda: electrical, vehicle speed sensor, honda acoord

I own a 1991 honda acoord ex, my sport light keeps flashing and my speedometer sometimes don't work.
Also my battery light comes on and off.
Can you help.

      Jose you got two separate problems.the first one for you to chase is the battery light.Go get your battery and charging system tested(my bet is the brushes in the alternator are worn out)The next problem is a fairly common one for the 90-91 accords,your vehicle speed sensor(v.s.s.) is begining to lose it's grip on life and decides to take a nap every now and then while your driving.It's located on top of the trans directly above the axles.Make sure you get the electronic part and not the part that goes into the trans,after you replace the part the "S"light will also stop flashing.
