Honda: 2003 Accord starting problems, honda accord ex, honda accord

Question
I have experienced intermittent starting with my 2003 Honda Accord EX V6.  The dealer replaced the fuel pump pressure regulator which did not solve the problem.  The car does not ever fail to start however it will intermittently not turn over on the first crank and always starts roughly.  I am aware of others (at petitiononline) experiencing the same problem with the 2003/4 V6 but the dealers say they haven't heard of the problem.  Is this a normal feature of these new low emmision models?  It seems like the car is not getting enough gas to start the engine.

Answer
Katherine, sorry about the delay.Your dealer used the information in service bulletin #03-079 which refers to long crank time or hard starting.when you say it always starts roughly that leads me to believe that one of the injectors are leaking into the cylinder and causing a slight misfire on start up.since your car is still under warranty I would take it back to your dealer.  Ray
