Nissan: 1991 Nisan 300ZX 2+2 NA, radiator fluid, radiator hose

Radiator fluid down cup full, driven, stop, smoke(radiator hose type), open, steam(not from rad hose) but from the union of alum. tube from engine(runs papllel to firewall) to hose which the makes 90 degre turn down into a heat shield hose at firewall . Radiator fluid seeps up out of space between tube and heat shield. Temp gauge in middle, not checked resorvior..? thermostat cause this? Thanks appreciate your help.

Pressure test the system. There are two heater hose tubes behind the engine that are almost impossible to get your hands on. They go right in to the heater core which is inside the dash and you will not be able to to it without removing the dash. You need to pinpoint the leak and pray its just the hose. Good luck
