I don't know if its the fuse or the lighter but it doesn't work

First and foremost, check the fuses. From there,(if you have one) plug a cell phone charger or cig. lighter device in. This either shows that the lighter is bad or the culprit is the barrel itself. You can go down to almost any parts store and pick up a new lighter, just make sure you have the old one for reference. Some newer lighters wire up a bit different. Check the size as well.
