Oldsmobile/Buick: High NX, haynes manual, catalytic converter

Question
I just installed a smog pump to my 83 cutlass after it had failed 3 times for the high noxide. Heres my question. Do you have a diagram for the hoses so I can figure out which hose goes where? Thank you. I have changed the smog pump on the car. But I get like a strong gas order. Likes it not burning off right away. I also chnged pretty much everything that needs to be changed ecept the converter is still good.

Chilton or the Haynes manual should provide the diagram . Also make sure timing is correct , and that your catalytic converter(s) are operating properly . You've probably already gone over the checklist , though I'd add that in there .
