Oldsmobile/Buick: Airconditioner oil, chilton manual, manual html

Question

We are working on a 1971 Old's 442.  The front bearing on the pulley was bad and also had lost the freon.  I don't know how much oil this unit should have replaced if the pump is drained and a new dryer is used.  Can't really measure the oil in the pump because I think through the years some had been lost.  Also how much should be put in the pump and how much in the dryer. At one time there was a web site that told the amount needed but can't find it right now.

I couldn't find anything online that would be that precise . I would try picking up the Hayne's or Chilton Manual for your car . Try:
