Pontiac: 1995 pontiac grand am, e mail address, cowl area

my daughter has a water leak. the leak affects both front floor areas. more heavily on the right side. i suspect the heater drain but cannot locate it. i cleaned out the cowl area. do you have any suggestions?

Is it WATER or ANTI-FREEZE ?.


If it is WATER. The evaporator drain hose is plugged up with debris.

A VERY COMMON problem and EASY to fix.

If you crawl under the car and locate this drain hose that is attached to the bottom of the evaporator housing, Take a FLEXIBLE small tube or plastic FLEXIBLE straw and insert it up into the drain hose and the condensation WATER will run down the straw and into your arm pit and soak your shirt.
