Porsche: 2003 Porsche SUV Air Conditioning, porsche suv, air vent

Vehicle has been at the dealership for 3 or 4 days due to left side(driver) air vent blowing hot air - service techs can't figure out why and are trying one thing, one piece at a time - help.

That's a strange one.  Try to maintain your patience.  They will figure it out.  Sometimes trial and error is the only to solve a mystery like this.  Unfortunately, these things can be time consuming as each time they try something that doesn't work it's like starting all over again.  They have to order different parts and wait for those to arrive before going at it again.  Good luck.
