Porsche: 911, factory warranty, boxster

I am in the market for a 911 porsche.  My budget is $40,000 (max). I am not sure what model to go for as I have only just started looking.  I am looking at keeping it for at least 5 yrs.  Any model you recommend?

The questions you need to ask yourself to narrow down the choices are: 1) Do I want a manual or automatic transmission? 2) Do I want a coupe or a convertible?  3) Do I want all-wheel drive or not?

Once you've decided those things you'll be well on your way.  However, my recommendation to you would be not to overlook the Boxster.  It is a terrific vehicle, and, at the price you're shopping at, you can find a Boxster with factory warranty remaining while the 911 will be out of warranty.
