Saab: my sabb just died while i was driving, model saab, systematic measurement

Question
my 900s sabb just died while i was driving and wont start back up what should i look for to fix the problem

Answer
David: I'll need more info as to what your and model SAAB you have to make a specific recommendation, as well as whether the engine "sounds different" when trying to start. However, in most instances of "sudden failure" it is either the ignition or fuel systems. If ignition, there are sensors, wires, distributors, etc.; any one of whom could be at fault. If fuel, it could be the fuel pump, or fuse, or any of associated wiring. It could also be a mechanical failure such as timing chain/belt. So, you see, without systematic measurement and analysis, the symptom can be many causes...too many to define online.
