battery dies if car is not started daily. How can i find out if something is draining it? i just dont know where to begin.

 Locating such an electrical "leak" is fairly easy if you have some knowledge of electric circuits,a volt/ampere meter, and patience. Please get back to me confirming your level of comfort regarding electrical circuits so I can respond appropriately.
 But for starters, I would check the glove box and trunk lights first. They can be left on and would not be noticed. Removing the respective bulbs is an easy method.
