Toyota: Speedometer cable, speedometer cable, 1991 toyota tercel

Hello.  The speedometer cable on our 1991 Toyota tercel is noisy when we drive it over 25 mph.  We realize it is the cold weather and it may need to be greased.  Is the greased contained on this model or can we grease it ourselves and if so, can you advise as to where the cable is.  Thanks for your time and help!

Hey Harold,

Please do not go for doing it yourself until and unless you are highly experienced in handling the instrument cluster region.

Please take it to a service station and ask them to lubricate it. The lubricant used, should have graphite in it. Ask for that specifically!!!
