Volkswagen: my bus has no power, vw bus, electrical works

Yesterday my 75 vw bus worked just fine. This morning I went out to it and nothing electrical works. The battery is good and there is a good connection at the terminal, but beyond that there is nothing. A few day ago I used it to jump another vehicle and after I remembered hearing something about how that's not good for them. Do you have any idea what my problem could be?

Hi Andy,

It sounds unrelated to the jump start, providing you didn't cross the terminals.  You probably jostled the terminals loose when attaching the cable.

I would unscrew both posts on your battery (the cables), clean them and the cables with a wire brush and refasten securely.

This should take care of your problem
