Volvo: 2000 C70 rag top broken, windscreen frame, manual override

My 2000 C70 rag top does not open at all, Volvo tells me there is NO way to open/override manually. I do not believe it , how can you that be true? I read on the internet that it can be winded down , where is the mechanism? How do one release the latches on the windscreen frame. I have had many other cabriolets before and they all hadd a manual override for an emergency?

As they said there is not a manual over ride. I looked on the last convert I had and was suprised to see that myself. I saw small motors to lower the top and never looked inside the top rail to see about the latches. The one I had needed a control unit replacement/reprogramming. Coustomer still waiting for parts to show up.
