Volvo: Volvo V40 heat problem, climate control system, coolant temp

Question
If I starts engine, when outside temperatureis low, in my V40 2,0T LED of A/C is flashing - depends how low is that temperature. When LED is flashing than fan which puts air to interior does not works. Is there some low temperature protection? Sometime that LED flashin longen than 5 min and I can not put air to front window. Please help.

Answer
Ondrej,
Most times that flashing light means a fault code in the system. Take the car to a Volvo shop and have them read the codes in the climate system and go from there. There should be a sensor in the system if it is an Electric Climate Control system, that will not allow fan operation until the coolant temp is warm enought to produce heat.
