Hello ray.
  what is the procedure to set the timing belt correctly on this vehicle? from start to finish. and is there a good repair manual that i can buy that shows how to do this? I was thinking about going on line with alldata. also where should the valve positions be when the timing marks are lined up correctly.   thanks for your help Ray.

All Data should show all that you need. Just for knowlege see if you can look at a Haynes manual to read the procedure. I have seen where that book shows the same as the Volvo books. Try one of the chain auto parts stores some will get info you seek and print it for you.
