Volvo: 2000 S70 GLT SE: SRS light reset?, srs system, reset tool

I have a 2000 S70 GLT SE and my SRS Light is on.  I read somewhere, but cannot remeber where, that the cause may be that I disconnected the Stereo System in my car and reconnected it; could that be it and how could I reset it?

Hello Eric! That would not be the cause of the SRS light. The only reason it would come on is beacause there is a fault in the SRS system. In order to diagnose and reset the light you will need a special scan tool. Either the Volvo VST or a an aftermarket scanner that is able to read SRS codes. I believe AST makes a SRS code reset tool.
