4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: fuel delivery, jeep cheeroke, auto parts stores

my jeep cheeroke 1990 will run for about 5 min. and then just die. Has good spark but when I check the plug after tring to start the plug is dry.  It has gas to the small air intake valve on the intake, if I push the valve gas comes out .  any suggestions?

Sounds like an electrical problem, and loses spark after it warms up.  I would try to trace out all of the wiring before anything else.  There are ways to check the spark, and to check out the fuel pressure, in case of a bad fuel pump, or partially plugged fuel line.

The best way to trace out this problem, is to purchase a repair manual for your Jeep.  These manuals give step by step instructions on most repairs, and can come in handy for future trouble shooting.  They can be purchased at most auto parts stores for $20 or so.
