Suzuki: Flat-Towing a Samurai, rear driveshaft, freeway speeds

Question
You've recommended towing a Samurai in 2WD and neutral. The owners manual recommends transfer-case neutral and 2nd gear, but T-case neutral spins the front driveshaft as well, since they're locked together inside the (stock) T-case when in neutral.
I've towed my '93 Sammi 4WD behind my mobile house for 25K miles and I'm now worrying about spinning the front driveshaft at freeway speeds -- the larger front angle makes it vibrate.  Disconnecting the rear driveshaft for every daily move isn't really an option for us.  And the driveshaft disconnect requires shortening the rear driveshaft plus adding a slot in my floorboard, which will surely leak.

What are the likely consequences of towing with T-case 2WD and transmission neutral?  This spins the intermediate shaft  and transmission output bearing but not the vibration-prone front driveshaft. OR is it time to get a modified T-case shifter (e.g. split-H) with a true neutral installed?  TNX

Answer
T-case 2wd and trans neutral has always been the best without disconnecting the rear driveshaft.
There are a couple of "twin stick" t-case fixes showing up that give a true t-case neutral, and do not connect the front driveshaft.
There's a system hi-lighted on the www.izook.com website, called "evil twins"  I'm going with that setup myself.
