Tips on Buying Cars: Simoniz 5, small claims court, marble floor

Hi.  Just looking for guidance.  We just bought a 2006 Mercedes GL350.  We opted to purchase the Simoniz 5.  We picked up the car Friday night, only drove it home (it rained) and then didn't take it out of the garage until Monday.  Question:  there were white flecks looking like paint on the car and all the windows had a stained effect.  We took the car back to the dealer and told him.  He tried to blame us for the flecks by saying we drove by some spray painting and he told us the windows had acid rain on them and it would not come off.  I think they sprayed on that Simoniz stuff, not by hand, and that is why it is like that.  When I picked up the car, they put it in this small showroom to give you a lesson on all the gadgets, there were small puddles all over the floor around the car which looked like wax (it was a black marble floor).  I said to the guy, what is that, he said it was rain.  I am no fool, rain water would be clear.  Do you think this happened because of they way they applied the Simoniz.  Do you think we can get them to reimburse us what we paid for it ($595).  Help.

Let me guess and correct me if I am wrong, you purchased the car and then went into the business/ finance office to sign your bill of sale and the smooth talking business manager talked you into buying and most likely also wanted you to buy an extended warranty.

As for getting your money back I will be surprised, if you feel car has got permanent damage tell the dealer they will be reported to BBB along with your taking them to small claims court, its worth the little time and expense If you carry through with it its my guess the dealer will settle.
