Tips on Buying Cars: Servicing a vehicle, party maintenance, great cars

Question
Hello,
I recently purchased an Audi. The maintenance fee is quite high. Is there a policy that I can purchase to help ease the cost? I'm going to have a hard time paying the car note and this bill.

Answer
Hi Virginia,

I haven't been able to find any 3rd party maintenance plans that could help you. Presuming this is a new vehicle, your dealer would be the most likely source of maintenance programs. These typically give you reduced costs for maintenance items like oil changes and other regular and routine items.

Anytime you can save money helps, but considering your concern, I don't think this would help much.

Buying great cars like your Audi come at a price: my Porsche oil change runs around $180. I hate to tell you that I don't see any cheaper alternatives for you at this point.

Sorry to break the bad news.

Regards,

Ron
