Tips on Buying Cars: Buying a new/used Chevy Suburban or Chrysler Sebring Convertible, chrysler sebring convertible, chrysler sebring

Question
My old 1998 Mazda Protege just had the transmission go out and I do not want to fix it.  I've had the car for over 4 years and had no payments to make because I paid cash for it.  I'm thinking about buying either a Chevy Suburban (or even some other SUV) or a Chrysler Sebring convertible.  One of my first questions is about financing...do you know where I can pull my three credit reports for one low price?  Also with financing, I want to pull my own credit and NOT have the car dealers pull my credit, will they still try to pull my credit?

I filled out an online car buying form through the local paper here in Houston, the Houston Chronicle.  There were 8 dealers that it emailed my information after I filled out the forms.
Here are the questions that I asked in the comments box:

Here are some of the features I would like in the vehicle or I am considering getting:

Is the standard Warranty – 3 yr/36,000 or 5 yr 60,000?  How much extra for the 5 yr if it's not standard?
Any ideas on where I can get the lowest interest rate loan?
I'd like to take ride in vehicle before buying.
If I buy a vehicle that is one year old to skip losing the approximate 40% depreciation in the 1st year...is this true of cars that are one year old but haven't been used or is it just for cars that were driven for a year?
Do you know if the insurance is higher on an SUV or a convertible?
I want tinted windows, keyless entry, electric windows, Onstar (if available).  Would I be able to have my mechanic inspect it?  Will you take my trade-in even though it doesn’t run?  It's a 1998 Mazda Protege.
Can you tell me what the gas mileage is on the Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler Sebring Convertible (4 cyl)?
Can you tell me what your service hours are at your dealership and if you have any loaner cars if my vehicle needs to be worked on?
Several lighter/outlets,
massage/heated drivers seat?
Can third row seating can be taken out?  Does it lay flat? Free oil changes/maintenance?
Automatic transmission.  Any other perks or incentives offered?

If you have any ideas or thoughts that may help me with my purchase, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,
Landon

Answer
first off, if you give them your drivers license number, they can pull your credit. Go to www.capitalone.com and you can apply for an auto loan, and bring in your own financing. If you have a Carmax auto superstore near you, that is the best place to find a used car, they are fixed pricing, guarentee the cars are not wrecks, and also offer financing..let me know if any other questions and good luck!!
