Tips on Buying Cars: Help required with my VW Passat, vw passat, edison nj

Dear Ray,

I have a VW Passat GLS V6 FWD, 2003 model with 80K miles. I bought it in Oct 2010 when it had 73K miles from another individual. I took all precautions including test drive while buying and it was good for first few months. But now this car is giving a lot of trouble to me. Since then, it has made me to visit my mechanic every other month. I have replaced its coils packs, spark plugs wires, front axles and some other parts. It's latest issue is that it is giving jerk while accelerating and braking. I guess it is transmission problem. It's check engine light is ON due to catalytic converter.

Now i am kind of fed up with this car. I do not want to sell it because i do not want another poor guy to get ripped of by this VW and if i sell it after declaring all these issues then no body will buy it. Please help me with car and let me know what should i do with it.

Now i am very much sure that Passat is one of the worst cars ever built. While searching for some help online, i stumbled upon your web site. It is awesome. The contents are really good and your effort to build this website is commendable.

Long story short  don't disclose anything, trade or sell with the thoughts your car is a diamond, sometime you got to deal with the devil and play the game, and that's buying or selling a car.
