Tips on Buying Cars: car auctions, government car auctions, dealer auctions

Question
I like to know car auction dealers in MD, VA, PA, and DE where I can attend the auction and bid by myself or I can attend the auction with an auction dealer.   I heard that attending the auction with an auction dealer would be a better choice.  Is it true most likely?  Where can I find the auction site for cars from governments (IRS, Custom, etc)?  Does each State have an auction site?   I like to know their Web sites.

Answer
Hi Daniel

If you like to attend a public auction you may be asking the wrong expert, I don't favor public auctions, here is a link to my website that will explain why http://www.usedcartips.org/AUCTIONS.html

Note I said public auctions, not dealer auctions - dealer auctions are 100% valid, but you have to be a registered dealer in order to bid or gain entrance,,, yes some dealers may string you along and bid on your behalf, but it's not legal.

Yes every State will have plenty of public auction sites, simply go goggle and type in,,, car auctions - government car auctions - vehicle auctions in " name a town or state " you will find many.

If you study my website you will pick up a few pointers how not to end up with a lemon, if something don't register feel free to get back to me, I will be happy to guide you further.

Good Luck
