im in the market to buy a 2009 toyota tacoma 4cyl. 4 wheel drive base model how do i find out what invoice and dealer cost is i was told that 5% over dealer cost is a fair price can you help me please thanks frank

Thanks for your question.  You can go to Edmunds.com to find the true market value of that vehicle and to find a similar invoice amount.  Now understand that the invoice you get will not be exactly like the one on the vehicle you are trying to buy, as there might be accessories on the vehicle or dealership adds.  Use this information to give you a good estimate, but don't use it as set in stone.  The only way for you to get the actual invoice on the vehicle you are looking to buy is from the dealership that has the vehicle, and they don't have to show you the invoice.  What a dealership owns the vehicle for has nothing to do with what they sale it for, so just be flexible, but get a good deal.
