Tips on Buying Cars: 2005 dodge neon, dodge neon 2005, dodge neon

I'm thinkin' of getting this car.

the second link was for the review. So after checking it out i notice it's got a really good rating and it's priced pretty cheap with very low mileage. gas imleage is 28-30 in city and 32-37 in highway so it seems like it gets good mileage. what do you think? i mean they will be giving me a carfax report once i get there and then on top of that I'll be bringing a car mechanic to open up the hood to check the inside of this car.

I like the mileage, the price, and most of all the fact you're having a mechanic along... Hopefully all checks out in your favor.

Here are some thoughts along with questions that need answers

1, The vehicle is for sale AS IS, that means not certified, and any problems the vehicle may have become your problems to make vehicle roadworthy.

2, When you mention " they " will give you a history report upon your arrival, are you saying they will not disclose a report prior to ?, I really hope I am totally wrong, the mileage is good along with the car looks excellent, but that word AS IS sends me a red flag,but the fact you got a mechanic along makes me feel much better.

SUMMARY... Not to waste my time, I would make a call with two questiond in mind,,, what's the total out the door price along with a breakdown cost factor ,,, does the history report show clean with no accident, salvage or rebuild title, along with no frame damage report.
