Tips on Buying Cars: returning truck, car deal, relize

My husband bought a truck in MA, but didnt relize that it was a 2 wheel instead of 4 wheeler drive the dealership told my husband that it was a done deal we got the truck on a saturday but returned it the next day. what are my husband options? would he be able to get his moeny back thanks>

Thanks for your question.  The dealership is correct, unfortunately.  Most dealerships will not let you back out of a car deal once you take delivery of the vehicle.  As long as the dealer did not put in writing, or display the vehicle as 4WD when it isn't, then the dealership did nothing wrong.  I know you don't want to hear this, but it is your, the consumer's, responsibility to make sure that the vehicle is what you want, not the dealerships.  Now, with that being said, I would offer this option to the dealership.  I would call the dealership's General Manager and explain the situation.  Offer to purchase another vehicle from them, but just not that one, because you need 4WD.  More than likely they will agree to that, as long as they get to still have a car deal out of it.
