Tips on Buying Cars: truck purchase, 2008 ford f150, ford f150

Question
I purchased a 2008 Ford F150 on 10-31-08 I have a bad back & neck from an auto accident years ago. Relizing the seats are now very uncomfortable can I return the truck? I purchased the truck in & live in Texas.

Answer
Karen,

Thanks for your question.  Unfortunately, the answer to your question is not one that you may want to hear.  In Texas there is no grace period on auto transactions at a dealership.  If you signed all the paperwork, the loan is approved by the bank, and you took delivery of that automobile, in the state of Texas you can't do anything about it.

Now with that said, I would call the dealership, and explain to them the situation and tell them that you still want to purchase a auto from THEM, but this one is very uncomfortable to you, and you want to know if there is anything they can do to help you.  They may help you, and they may not.  It depends on how that dealership is run by the owner, and General Manager.

I am sorry this isn't the answer you are looking for, but its the answer none the less.  I hope it works out for you.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask, and thanks for using allexperts.com.

Thanks - JB
