Tips on Buying Cars: Trade in, 2005 chevrolet equinox, chevrolet equinox

I would like to trade in my 2005 Chevrolet Equinox due to mechanical problems. I have taken it in to the dealer on numerous occasions only to be stuck with a problem that can't be duplicated. The car has 59,00 miles on it and I owe 18,000 on it. How can I get another vehicle? Will anybody allow me to trade it in? Can I trade in for a vehicle that is lower than 18,000 and balance out? Please help me I need something dependable for My kids and I.

You can trade it in on a less expensive vehicle or even a more expensive one. Your best bet is to go to kbb.com and see what the trade in value would be for the Equinox that way you know exactly where you stand.

If you owe a lot more than it is worth than you would want to look at a new vehicle with a rebate that would help eat the negative equity. After you get your trade value and payoff etc. feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
