Tips on Buying Cars: First Car, final resting place, paul hey

My dad and I were looking into buying a car for me. I'm only 15 and my dad wants to get a car that we can restore and build together. The price range he has set is a pretty low 1000$. I was wondering if you had any suggestions.

I can tell you where to start looking for a project car.
your local community newspaper along with supermarket and church billboards, a public auction,and yet another choice would be a wreckers as many of these vehicles make it on their own to their final resting place.
