Tires: tire size difference, size differences, tire size

my car came with 225 55 17 i have (2) 225 55  17 and (2) 235 55 17 can i put them on my 05 lacrosse?

I is never a good idea to put different tires on the front than on the back.  This is especially true for AWD's and 4X4's as the difference in diameter could damage the drivetrain.  

And the more different the tires are, the greater the risk.  

Size differences can be enough to cause your vehicle to be unstable when cornering - and the problem is you won't really know if you have a problem until you are face with an emergency situation - and that's just when you want the car to behave the most.

I would recommend you fix the size issue as soon as you can.
