Question
If the tyre size is the same and the spped rating acceptable is it OK to fit a different make of tyre on a car?
eg Dayton Qudra LTE on a LWB Jaguar.

Local regulations vary considerably, and it is impossible for me to keep up with them.  But from a technical point of view, so long as the tire size is the same - and the load carrying capacity is at a minimum the same, then it is OK.

However, you may want to consider that speed rating not only deals with the speed capability of the tire, but usually, the handling characteristics come along for the ride - with higher speed ratings being better handling.
