Tires: tire pressure?, 2005 toyota corolla, toyota corolla

Question
I just got a new set of tires for my 2005 Toyota Corolla S.  The original tires were rated T, but the new tires are 91H.  My question is what pressure should I keep my tires at?  The originals were supposed to be maintained at 30psi.

Answer
Jonathan,

The speed rating doesn't change the way a tire handles load - so use the same pressure - provided you are using the same size as the original.

Check your vehicle placard.  It will list the original tire size and the proper pressure for that size.  the placard is usually located on a doorpost or in the glove box.
